About Us
it was all a dream. productions was co-founded by Ahmed Twaij and Aws Haidari on the foundations of bringing underreported stories to the biggest stage and screens.
Both Ahmed and Aws have years of experience in journalism from around the world for which they have won an array of awards.
The team has developed a reputation for focussing on using the art of cinema to present alternative narratives to how we see the world today. Presenting stories authentically and involving storytellers native to the presentation has been key to the originality of our work. We aim to provide a platform for those that come from minority communities and provide the opportunity to present their work to the world.
The production team is currently working on an Iraq related story. We are also in the process of developing a number of other stories.
